  day-1
Evolution of steel in prehistoric - they where use it as a swords, tools and cutlery ,and we where seeing about types of metal - ferrous and non ferrous metal, ferrous has iron content - steel- wrought iron, cast iron . non ferrous metal would not have iron content and they are aluminum, copper, led. and then ,steel making process - casting , rolling , forging , extruding and drawing. casting - hot liquid material is poured into hollow cavity after cooling the metal gets solid and the solidify part is known as casting. rolling- large steel slab is heated and then flattened and rolled using a set of rollers. forging - steel is heated forging temperature, it becomes ductile and malleable and be molded to a shape by hammering it. steel shaped permanently without cracking. extruding- hot material is pushed through a die of the desired cross section. drawing- a metal sheet is forming die by the mechanical action of punch, it changes the shape to it.
