Before steel, iron was used extensively.Discovering that steel cast inside concrete could bring flexibility, ductility and endurance to greater physical heights was the dawn of the steel era.
Of course steel is a mere adoption just like everything else man discovered.The human brain always arrives at a conclusion after scrutiny and comparison with other equivalents.So,Let's begin.
Given the nature of a metal steel is a good conductor of heat and cold.

Yet steel is more liable than timber. Nowadays,composite materials are rising to light because of the combined efficiency of their various compounds. Steel also has found its groove in working with other material. Steel can adapt.
Unlike plastics, the quality of steel does not deteriorate on recycling. Lesser waste is produced and different members can be combined for alternative reuse -Steel is diverse.
SATISFIES THE 2/3 R's OF SUSTAINABILITY AND ECO FRIENDLY CONDUCT.

CONCLUSION
Steel requires work too but still is superior to a few other materials. High levels of versatility , durability , flexibility and tenacity still keep it considerably on top.
