MAN AND METAL - DAY 1

 When the caveman was only beginning to comprehend planet resources

When necessity and invention had just started rooting their combined powers

When discovery solely satisfied survival and not mere comfort

Even before anything was recorded

metal played an inevitable role in human life.

GETTING INTO STEEL 

Now,the language of a structure may choose to hide its supportive steel members and call it REINFORCEMENT; or proudly display the intricate work behind its stature and call it AESS-[Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel].

HOW DID MAN MAKE THIS GIANT LEAP?

Needless to say,all those centuries of trial and error, experimenting,analyzing,implementing, proposing, designing, constructing and concluding has PAID OFF! 


I BELIEVE steel is versatile beyond limits and today's class was already a witness to this regard. Forging, Casting, Drawing, Extruding etc. only provide means to bring steel to a desired form. Imagine what one can do with it AFTER!

Eager to learn and look forward to every outlook steel can bring.
