What is sustainability ? According to me , maintaining a certain level  growth .Steel  is very sustainable material because , it can be recycled infinite amount of times , the resources  used  for making  steel are not wasted because steel can be used forever. 

Steel is 100% recyclable and  it is a sustainable material in construction. Among some of the material, steel is certified under the  green buildings rating system . Steel  is the most sustainable material ,as it is extremely durable and long lasting – construction of steel as a building material in a design  is an advantage due to  long lasting properties and low maintenance . 

Example : Weathering steel  can last 120 years or more with low maintenance. Steel as a construction material also contributes to reduced waste , also contributes to reduced construction time and increased  construction efficiency. Steel is long lasting , highly recyclable and flexibly reusable.

As steel promotes sustainable construction , steel buildings have following benefits : Safer construction,less maintenance ,time efficient , cost saving and fire resistant. Building with steel involves low use of raw materials . The factors that illustrate sustainability of steel : economic growth , environmentally friendly and minimal hazards . 

Steel is the most sustainable material , The smarter and more durable, cost-effective choice for reliable, strong, sustainable and efficient construction is continually recycled steel. Steel 100% recyclable-easy dismantling makes steel ideally suitable for temporary buildings.
