blog 2 - Minerals, rock, metals, alloy

hello there., 
    On today class we discussed about ore minerals rock metals alloy.we learnt this defination by doing match the following with colour code eg, if red colour code is given for rock then the defination will be in red. so after this we had dicussed about the manufacturing process of steel basicly there are two types 1, oxygen process 2, electric arc furance process. Raw materials like iron ore. carbon, limestone. during this as byproduct we get sulfur and silicone. so till now we discussed about the manufacturing part, from here let we discuss about their properties properties of steels - ductility - brittle - hardness - compression & tension - plasticity deformation and we had discussion about steel is a sustainable are not many came up with some many debate from my point of view i said steel is a sustainable material because its not harm to people and to surrounding. so from today i came to know that steel has good tensile, yield strength, hardness. and ductile.
